Great article. I enjoyed reading it. I am very familiar with Sun Tzu's The Art of War, but I had never heard of The 36 Stratagems. Well, I am closing that knowledge gap. Thanks!
As for Germany, this seems to mean Germany's de-industrialization will become more and more a certainty. Germany's companies might be able to at least partially navigate this by relocating the production facilities to the US and other countries, something the US, with the new tariffs, is encouraging. It's okay for German companies, great for the US, and bad for Germany's workers. I just wonder why the German government is doing this. Surely they have to foresee this.
Thank you! The German Green party - which was vital for the amendment - wants to destroy the country’s industrial base to achieve their climate agenda and Merz seems to be totally clueless into what he has been tricked into.
Brilliant summary. The truly astonishing part is not that this was conceived and executed, but there is no distrust given the current political climate
Greatly appreciated this essay. The climate scam is certainly winning in Western Europe, the poor people are being led to their demise by the crazy climate zealots.
Holy moly, but this sure rhymes with the prospect of Mark Carney, watching his GFANZ grift disintegrating, planning on doing the same sort of thing here in Canada. I don’t mean by altering the constitution, but by ramming Nut Zero down everyone’s throat.
The US Army wrote the Japanese and German constitutions. The Japanese for very good reasons have crystallized the MacArthur Constitution in an untouchable form. It can be fooled with but never changed. Too risky. The nutty Germans have decided that they can do better than Gen. Lucias Clay--and have detonated the catastrophe.
The old parliament decided at the end of December to hold an election. Before the newly elected parliament was convened, the old one quickly decided to change the constitution, knowing the new majority wouldn’t allow for this amendment.

Excellent article.
Thank you!🫡

Thank you! It’s truly crazy. And some people make good money on this mass delusion.
No good scam doesn’t have money making by some.
Nice. Germany is ready for takeover or manipulation, again.

Can you elaborate the opening sentence?
“On March 18—just 81 days after its dissolution at the end of December—the German parliament passed”
I no longer follow German politics closely…
The old parliament decided at the end of December to hold an election. Before the newly elected parliament was convened, the old one quickly decided to change the constitution, knowing the new majority wouldn’t allow for this amendment.
