yet another step on the way to making Europe the third world. Rather sad really, but self inflicted injuries always are.

Oh, but they'll convince themselves that they have the "best medical systems in the world" - just like Cuba's.

Another bit of insight as you do so well. Energy literacy is remarkably low…. A week or 2 without electricity would improve energy literacy quickly, so would a few weeks without any pills, plastics, modern clothing, etc

Thank you! The direction of travel suggests that kind of education may come to pass sooner than expected.

Pain starts with the political decision makers: in UK Starmer and Miliband. Their predecessors started the rot several decades ago. Since, there has been realisation of the peril we are in but those currently lording it are fanatics and refuse to see let alone understand what their trajectory will bring in just a few years time. Civil unrest may well become more newsworthy!

The Brawl Street Journal's avatar

The people making these decisions certainly aren't the ones paying for them.

Glad I stocked up on headache pills as long as supplies lasted, since all of this is giving me headaches.

Great coverage.

Watching this situation unfold is a bit like watching fireworks. Never know where the next cascade of falling sparks will appear.

I'm really not sure if I am in the mood to put money on any of these forward facing knowledge asymmetries, however. Everything seems extremely wobbly.

These are certainly stomach testing times.

Convincing. Sobering. Very important piece. Not unknown, but there has been so much damaging denial.

The Brawl Street Journal's avatar

Thank you! Denial is doing a lot of heavy lifting in European policy right now.

I wouldn't say it was unforeseeable. Makes one wonder was the U.S. push for domestic drug manufacturing was clairvoyant

Super post, Brawlster. Most people have no clue the breadth of products this touches.

The Brawl Street Journal's avatar

Thank you! On the upside, great times to produce content on energy, lol.

Another step on the road to h*ll, which as we all know is paved with good intentions, or at least what the Greens think are good intentions. not so good for the rest of the folks

There's a German saying: the opposite of done well is meant well.

James Corbally's avatar

I'll have to remember that one!

Valuable highlight! Applies to Covid experiences…(fool me once…).

We are re- entering a Feudal era. Human nature is cyclical.

Thank you for this.

The Brawl Street Journal's avatar

Thank you! Alongside feudalism we may be slipping into a pre-Enlightenment era.

James Corbally's avatar

Certainly Europe is. I expect we'll avoid the worst of it here in the U.S. - outside the Blue Model Zones, at least.

Another excellent article- thank you Sir!

Thank you for reading! 🫡

But Europe's "free" healthcare comes from magic out of thin air and taxes, right?

Sooner or later they'll come to realize their dependence on the world in general and the U.S in particular.

Benzene supply chain? Not one that I had been thinking about. Thanks for putting it on my radar screen. Same fundamentals would seem to apply to anything in the cracking chain. Well beyond jet fuel worries.

Many Doctors has warned of the dependency on oil supply and healthcare. Some articles on this in the 70s.

Healthcare is not only dependent on the naphta, but also diesel and bunker oil for transport. Healthcare is also dependent on mining and smelters. Dont forget healthcare is dependent on fertilizers for workers in pharmaceutical industry and production for biological feedstock for nutrition and soy as solvents.

It is no part of the rafinery column that is not used in healtcare.

The Brawl Street Journal's avatar

Correct. There are a lot more stories to be told.

If The Lizard 🦎 People were doing anything the last few decades it was setting up the world for complete dependence on the economies that can *deliver* oil - which means it must be defensible and magically the shipping lanes are secured. Who could it be? Now the Green subsidies by Getty et al makes sense. Peace on Earth- or you’ll be cold and hungry- worse not medicated.

I wonder if anyone told the ecofascists where their SSRIs and dependencies come from?

The Brawl Street Journal's avatar

Dependency is the flip side of using every fraction coming out of a barrel.

the long warred's avatar

Yes 💊 fractions of flip sides

The Eurocrats will take jobs with American companies as Europe descends into Eurocreateus level poverty 😝

the long warred's avatar

Look we 🇺🇸 are eating Europe and it’s their own fault. We’re just not going down with their ship. All these EU whores will take American- or perhaps Chinese- jobs.

As the Europeans just sit there what is to be done?

At least World Wars emanating from Europe won’t be a problem.
